About Brenda

Who She Is

Originally from Rocky Ford, CO, Brenda is a Christian Psychologist/Therapist who currently resides in Independence, MO with her husband William. She is a domestic violence survivor and has been functioning as a Christian Psychologist since 2012. She has served as the Board Chairman with Black Americans For Life - Kansas City and is currently the Pastoral Care Minister at New Covenant Ministries in Independence, MO. Being a firm believer in the power of prayer and faith in Almighty God, she has served in the capacity as a minister of music/worship leader, and currently has 2 CDs completed: one contemporary jazz CD which is available via the internet, and one gospel CD with is being sold locally. It is her love for the Lord and his people that prompted her to establish "ATAP Counseling." All are welcomed...from pastors to those who are lost and are trying to find their way to peace, refuge and direction.
